An Equal Opportunity Cell has been instituted with the purpose of assisting students hailing from underprivileged backgrounds, encompassing Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). This initiative aims to bolster students' confidence and extend financial aid through dissemination of information regarding diverse scholarship schemes offered by the Government of West Bengal. The Cell is steadfast in its dedication to ensuring parity in opportunities for all students, regardless of their socio-economic background, gender, or ethnicity.

COMPLAINT MECHANISM

Any allegations concerning a student from SC, ST, PH, and Minority backgrounds are encouraged to report any physical or psychological harassment they experience to the members of the committee. The complaint may be submitted in written, telephonic, or digital format, such as via email, utilizing the link provided on the college website. Such complaints may originate from the victimized student, an associate thereof, the Student Class Representative, or any individual possessing knowledge of the incident. All complaints forwarded to the committee shall be treated with utmost confidentiality and shall not be disclosed publicly under any circumstances.
